Lovely Party by admin

I threw a little going away party for my sister last night, she's going traveling across Asia for four months.

I can honestly say it was one of the best parties I’ve had. I had such a fantastic time with everyone and my sister was so surprised and so happy. And so many people came!

There was literally non stop laughter amongst everyone and some people even started playing charades it was hilarious! Food was ordered in so when it arrived we all sat and ate it together so it felt like such a group think rather than a party where everyone's all separate.

It was so great to see my sis surrounded by all these supportive people giving her loads of presents and good wishes for her trip!

So thanks to all of you that came, we love you so much! And also, if anyone left their g-star jacket, it's here, come get it!

New toy by admin

I might be a bit old for this, but I have no shame, look at my new toy:

I currently have a brand new and very beautiful Nintendo 3DS in front of me! You want the features? Yeah you do:

- 3D screen, enabling 3D view without the need for special glasses and the ability to adjust or turn off 3D effect with the 3D Depth Slider.
- Stereo cameras that enable users to take 3D photos that can be viewed instantly on the 3D screen.
- New input interfaces including the Circle Pad, motion sensor, gyro sensor

I would carry on, but you'd get jealous... I've ordered an R4 card for it, and I have plenty of microSD and microSDHC cards that I can use to store games, game saves, movies and music on. This little beaut is going to be taking up a lot of my free time!

Hosting Providers by admin

Finding a decent managed hosting providers is quite tough.

You need a good reputable company that are reliable. It took me a good few weeks to decide on a company to use and one that I was happy with the price.

In the end I went with NTT Communications and they so far have been really helpful and their customer service is brilliant.

I highly recommend them. Very efficient and got the server up and running very quickly!

So Many Pictures, So little Time! by admin

Because I am off travelling in October I have slowly been trying to buy lots of bits so I know I have everything and it is not a mad rush before I go.

This weekend I was sorting my camera out. Knowing full well I will take loads of pictures I wanted to make sure I got a decent camera with lots of memory.

In the end I bought a Samsung digital camera – just like the normal ones – so it is not too big to carry around but I bought a 32GB compact flash memory card to go with it.

The card was £47 so nearly as much as the camera – but at least it will store loads of photos and memories!

Getting Started with Maya by admin

If you are struggling to get started with Maya software there is loads of help online with animation tutorials .

There are very easy to find all you need to do it Google Maya software help and loads of useful information and tips will appear!

One of my favourite video for beginners is how to create a stormy wave scene. The tutorial shows you how to create a realistic animation of an ocean using fluid effects.

The final piece is a video shot through a cylinder stand camera placed right on top of the ocean waves, which makes the animation more exciting and impressive!
